Periodically, and upon request, reports are issued on the progress of the (testing) process and the quality of the test
object, in accordance with the agreements established in the formulation of the assignment. The progress and risk
reports are usually combined into one report and included in the progress reports to be drawn up within the system
development process. The content of reports depends on the defined basic quality and the selected quality. In the
report, for example, the following aspects are documented:
-
Status of the test object (per unit, group of units or integration step)
-
Total number of test cases
-
Number of test cases still to be executed
-
Number of test cases correctly executed
-
Bottlenecks and points of discussion.
In addition, at the end of a test:
-
Evaluation of the test object, what has been tested, including known errors, i.e. defects that have not (yet) been
solved.
-
Evaluation of the test strategy, with any deviations from the original agreed test strategy being communicated to
the client.
